In line with its development plan, NIM's strategy essentially aims to create the adequate environment for research and development and to further consolidate research by means of national and international specific programs and partnership.

NIM is presently involved in the following projects :
    Numerical Weather Prediction Project : ALADIN Model, Tunisia.
    Monthly and Seasonal Precipitation Prediction in Tunisia.
    EMAGPOT Project (Intermediate-Scale Study of Aerosols, Gas, and Precipitation in Tunisia).
    Micro-zoning Project for the Greater Tunis District.
