Heavy rain causes runoff and increases water flow. It would therefore be interesting to analyze the frequency of rainy days of high intensity which characterize the rain pattern of Tunisia .

    The current study is a statistical tool that will assist weather forecasting, land development projects, and protection against flood .

    The frequency analysis covers the northern, central, and southern areas of Tunisia .
