The third hottest month of november since 1950

 

      November 2022 was marked by a rise of temperature in most regions. The average temperature exceeded the benchmark by +1.5°C, making November of this year the third hottest November since 1950.

      With regard to rain, and after the dry month of October, most of the northern regions witnessed the return of rain in several periods, as the monthly total rainfall exceeded the reference average, but the rainfall remained scarce in the rest of the country. The monthly total in all regions (27 main stations) for the month was 757.3 mm, while the reference total for the same stations was 1069 mm, and thus the percentage of the decrease reached 30%.
