Monthly Climatological Report July 2022 in Tunisia

During July 2022, many regions of Tunisia witnessed a noticeable rise in temperatures and we did not record new records for maximum temperatures, while we set new records at the level of the highest minimum temperatures. The general average of temperature (27 main stations) reached 30.1°C and it exceeded the reference rate by a difference of +1.5 °C, which made the month of July this year classified as the fifth hottest month of July since 1950.

        With regard to precipitation, all regions were affected by the decrease in the amount of rain. The rains were rare and very weak or non-existent in some areas, and the total decrease (27 main stations) reached 81%.
