The hottest June on record in Tunisia

since 1950


    During the month of June 2021, most parts of the country were affected by high temperatures accompanied by Sirocco. The southwestern regions of the country experienced exceptionally high temperatures both day and night, especially during the period from June 17 to 30. Some resorts even broke their absolute records for maximum temperatures, awhich made June the hottest month on record with a positive anomaly of 2.98°C..
