       May 2022 was marked by an increase in temperature in most regions of Tunisia.  The general average (27 main stations) averaged 23 degrees and was above the reference average (21.5 °C), with a difference of +1.5 °C, which made May of this year ranked sixth for the hottest May since year 1950.

       With regard to rain, most regions witnessed a decrease in the amount of rain, and the total total (27 main stations) for the month was 418.3 millimeters, while the reference rate     (1991-2020) for the same stations was 541,9 millimeters.
