Abstract

In Tunisia, the air quality was characterized by a notable improvement during September 2021. The mean monthly results for this month ; compared with August 2021 , showed a decrease in sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and ozone (O3) of 22%, 25%, 16% and 2% respectively, using the Sentinel-5P satellite measurements, where these data were analyzed and developed at the Meteorological National Institute of Tunisia.
