The lunar crescent visibility of the Rajab 1446 Hijri
The Conjunction:
The geocentric conjunction between the Moon and the Sun will occur on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 23:27 local time.

Position of the Moon at sunset on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
In Tunisia:
In Tunisia, the moon will remain above the horizon after sunset for approximately 20 minutes. The maximum altitudes (HL) and geocentric elongations (ARCL) will be observed in Borj El Khadra, with an HL of 3.87° and an ARCL of 7.36

Islamic Cities:
In Arab and Islamic countries, the Moon will remain above the horizon after sunset on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 (see Image 3). Its visibility duration will vary depending on the region, with a maximum of 42 minutes in Dakar, where the Moon will reach its highest altitude of 2.28 degrees above the horizon and a geocentric elongation (ARCL) of approximately 11.43 degrees.

Crescent observation possibility:
According to astronomical data, the crescent moon of the month of Rajab will be visible after sunset on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in several regions around the world, including some Arab countries such as Yemen, Algeria, and Morocco. The possibility of observing the crescent will begin globally from noon local time in the easternmost areas of the Indian Ocean and will gradually progress westward, as illustrated on the attached map (Image 3).
In Tunisia, the Moon will be relatively close to the horizon, making observation conditions incomplete. However, the crescent's visibility remains weakly probable and depends on specific conditions.
