Weather forecasts

Forecasting consists of collecting, analyzing and interpreting the various observation products, the direct or remotely sensed measurements as well as the numerical weather prediction models.

The operation forecast is provided continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The forecasts are made available in the form of bulletins, directives or files, and they are communicated to the different users through various communication media.

These forecasts are established for a period ranging from a few hours to seven days, but with a clear distinction between very short and short-term forecasts, valid for the next 24 and 48 hours, and medium-term forecasts, valid for the next 3 to 6 days.

Beneficiaries are very diverse and forecast bulletins are relevant to different sectors of the national economy: aeronautics, marine, agriculture, industry, environment, energy and tourism, as well as health, sports, recreation and media. .
